Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
RidgeFile (business.rummytech.org) is a fan-made roleplay web application for a Roblox community. It is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or any real government. This policy explains what data the Service handles and why.
2. What we collect
When you sign in with Roblox (via Roblox's official OAuth service), we receive and store your public Roblox profile basics: your Roblox user ID, username, display name and avatar image URL. We never receive or store your Roblox password or email address.
While you use the Service we also store:
- content you submit — entity names, registrations, filings, licence applications and similar roleplay records, some of which appear on the Service's public register;
- a session cookie (
ridgefile_sid) — a random identifier that keeps you signed in and holds your cart. It is an essential cookie; we use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies; - an audit log of roleplay actions (e.g. approvals by officers), kept so the community can see how the register is administered.
Our hosting providers automatically process technical data (such as IP addresses in server logs) to deliver the site securely.
3. How we use it
We use this data solely to operate the Service: authenticating you, displaying the register, and running the roleplay features. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers that run the Service (Railway for hosting and the database, Cloudflare for DNS/proxying, and Roblox for sign-in), each under their own privacy policies.
4. Retention and deletion
Data is kept while the Service operates and may be wiped at any time as part of roleplay resets. To have your account data removed, email us (below) with your Roblox username, or simply request it in the community — we will delete your user record and sessions. Note that register entries you created may be anonymised rather than deleted, to keep the shared roleplay history coherent.
5. Children
The Service is intended for members of a Roblox community and collects only the public Roblox profile information described above. We do not knowingly collect any further personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided personal information beyond this, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Security
The Service is served over HTTPS, session cookies are HTTP-only and secure, and sign-in is delegated entirely to Roblox. No system is perfectly secure, however, and you use the Service at your own risk.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the current version will always be published at this address. Questions or deletion requests: [email protected].
